Star Trek Online
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek_Online

Star Trek Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Cryptic Studios based on the Star Trek franchise. The game is set in the 25th century, 30 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis. Star Trek Online is the first massively multiplayer online role-playing game within the Star Trek franchise and was released for Microsoft Windows in February 2010. At launch, the game required a game purchase and a recurring monthly fee. In January 2012, it relaunched with a tier of free-to-play access available. After a public beta testing period, a version of the game was released for OS X in March 2014. Due to technical issues with the port, support for OS X ended in February 2016. It was later released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2016.

haudace says:

can you post your PC specs?

VipapkStudiosOfficial says:

Alright, just finished watching, few things!
you should have gone for tactical > more damage with your ship which you absolutely will need in the future! But engineering aint that bad, it has the best looking ships tho! (Engineering class!)
also you can put when on ground the first two 1 and 2 weapon thingy on auto fire by right clicking on it (once) so you can do the same with ship weapons!

well gonna watch Ep2. now! :))

Tam M says:

You didn't name the ship Barry? And that plant was trimmed that way. Topiaries are strange looking things.

The Truth says:

This game is garbage

Zach Tester says:

hey its the acronym for the usaf teir 1 special forces unit sto for them stands for special tactics officer I also play a tactical officer in sto

ShadowCat says:

If you get a lifetime sub you get 500 zen a month. And you can save up for stuff and unlock stuff. Double tap A to roll.

MFlax says:

Some information on classes and other beginning stuff. Each class favors different starship types. In fact in space you are the ship and on ground you are the person. You gather some bridge officers with different classes.

1. tactical – dd – standard colour = red – their ships are a bit squishy but fast with high firepower – for starters it would be medium difficulty
2. engineering – tank – colour = yellow – their ships are tanks as well, not so fast – for starters it would be the easiest way to start
3. science – support-role – colour = blue – their ships get a boost for shields (shile modifier > 1) – for starters it would be the most difficult choice

You can change alomost all cosmetics, uniforms, ships and such later in the game. You can choose any ship you want, if it is available for your faction. You cannot fly Klingon or Romulan ships.
You can buy additional features with ZEN or from the Dilithium shop. You will earn Dilithium ore, refine it and you may exchange it to ZEN (if needed). Thus you can generate the microtransaction currency (ZEN) from an ingame currency (some grind sometimes but you can play it completely F2P – I like that).

For the tutorial you start with the academy outfit – no matter your selection at the start.
I'm playing for several years now. I'll add some comments to your let's play, when I think it might be helpful. I have been helped in my play with several youtubers who like to play the game as well. I still like to see more videos on this and I would like to give some tips, so other players might find fun as well.

Memories Inside says:

I love it so far. Wish the cutscenes were more cinematic tho but its good

Troy Nikolic says:

I love Star Trek so much haha. I’ll be watching this play through closely!

vernon roche says:

Tyrion J Kirk STO says:

Hey just a little heads up the game is about to get an update this fall, no release date but soon, for Star Trek Discovery. With this update will come the updating of the mission journal. Depending on where you get to in game you may be confused if you no longer see what you thought was your next mission as some of that content is going to be removed. I wrote this before I watched your video. Thanks again.
